Mrs. Marxer Dies in West

Services are pending in Portland, Ore., for Mrs. Hugo E. Marxer, 67,at native of Des Moines who died Wednesday after a long illness.Burial will be in Portland.
Mrs. Marxer lived in Des Moines 47 years before moving to Portland 20years ago.
Survivors include her husband, Hugo E.; two sons, Lt. Commander HugoE., Jr., serving with the Navy at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, and Robert ofPortland; two daughters, Mrs. Katherine Carpenter of Ames, and Mrs.Gerrie Stielow of Des Moines; two brothers, Carl J. Muelhaupt andHarry G. Muelhaupt, both of Des Moines; three sisters, Mrs. Carl P.Marxer, Mrs. Catherine Cummins, and Mrs. E. R. Haley, all of DesMoines; 13 grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
