Mrs. Marxer, 85, Rites Wednesday

Services for Mrs. Edward Marxer, 85, of 3021 Woodland Ave., who diedMonday at Mercy Hospital after a three month illness, will be at 9a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Church. Burial will be in St. AmbroseCemetery.
Rosary services will be at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Caldwell-BrienFuneral Home.
Born in Austria, Mrs. Marxer had lived in Desmoines 65 yers. She wasa member of St. Mary's Church, the Catholic Womens League, St. Mary'sSociety and the Bishop Drumm Guild.
Surviving are five sons, Carl P. and Lawrence E. Marxer, both of DesMoines, Hugo and Dr. John J. Marxer, both of Portland, Ore., andEdward Marxer of Omaha, Neb.; seven daughters, Mrs. Harrry C. Morrow,Mrs. J. J. McDonnell and Anna Marxer of Des Moines, Mrs. WilliamArmbruster of Stanton, Neb., Marie and Josephine Marxer of Portland,and Mrs. Frank Mulroney of Aberdeen, Wash.;
31 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
